Hell of a logbook you have there! Good Luck!

You're current in a P-51 and you need to work?

You have a gambling problem or something? :D

I'm kidding. I wish I had 1/10 your experience. Welcome.

Thanks all. Yeah, but unfortunately, due to the economy, I have been laid off. So I'm exploring my options for now. :dunno:

I'd take a job here in the States as well, but prefer NOT to live in CA anymore (unless the job pays REALLY well). The problem I have been seeing is that all the job opportunities here require a type rating in the particular plane they fly or I am essentially over qualified for the position.

What is it with employers not willing to invest some money to get a type rating for a guy like me with more overall experience than almost anyone? You would think it would be a smart investment, yet they won't even consider you if you're not typed.

So I thought maybe something out of country might work as many people/companies etc. like to hire American trained pilots if the local rules allow it (ie: I don't have a JAA ATPL).
