Natural curiosity and hunger for wonder are behaviors that make our employees successful.</p> <p>This summary provides a listing of the knowledge, skills and abilities that are critical components of the position for Crew Services Supervisor.</p> <h1>B.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; General</h1> <p>This position reports to the Manager of Crew Services. This is a full-time position that will interact with Crew Schedulers, Crew Planner, the Director of Operations, Managers of System Operations Control, Director of System Operations Control, Chief Pilot, Director of Inflight, and is responsible for the planning and future optimization of flight crew resources to comply with government and company regulations while maintaining the operations in an efficient, cost effective, and safe manner. This includes but is not limited to Air Mobility Command (AMC) passenger and other special charter flight schedules including sports teams as well as all other operational flights that include Flight Crew. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence by delivering training and also while providing customer service to all crew members. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of all FAR Part 121 and FAR Part 117 crew scheduling requirements. Good communication skills are required, and the successful candidate must be able to exhibit the values and culture of the company while working with flight crews in a dynamic environment.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1>C.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Duties and Responsibilities</h1> <ul> <li>Responsible for maintaining and updating current Crew Scheduler training materials</li> <li>Conduct new hire classroom training, recurrent training and provide on-the-job training</li> <li>Manage Corporate Travel Department on interim basis within Crew Services</li> <li>Assist Crew Planner with monitoring and scheduling crewmember OE and pilot consolidation hours</li> <li>Additional duties as assigned by Crew Services Manager</li> </ul> <p>When not performing the above duties, performs the duties of Crew Scheduler:</p> <ul> <li>Provide excellent customer service and support to all crewmembers through handling all scheduling related items including relaying correct policy, procedural, and regulatory</li> <li>Completes monthly optimization of crew pairings for Flight Crew to minimize travel and operations costs and maximize Crew efficiency. Ensure Utilization of reserve crewmembers in the most efficient and expedient method necessary to ensure operational reliability;</li> <li>Performs all monthly schedule development for Flight Crew in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations (mandated Part 91, Part 121, Part 117 regulations), labor agreements, and company policies including bid eligibility lists, creation of bid scenario and awarding of bids.</li> <li>Ensures that a crewing solution is in place for all difficult destinations and advises management of any impending crewing issues which can impact on time performance (i.e. country restrictions);</li> <li>Ensures that all open flight legs within both short/long term planning horizon are efficiently covered to mitigate any risk of delays or cancellations;</li> <li>Works together with System Operations Control (SOC) personnel, Flight Operations and Inflight management to ensure a safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation;</li> <li>Maintain necessary communication with all crewmembers, flight control, and station personnel related to crew schedules</li> <li>Determines the impact of flight schedule changes on Flight Crew and work with other departments to optimize reserve coverage;</li> <li>Determines associated costs for flight schedule changes and identifies cost saving opportunities while maintaining operational reliability;</li> <li>Responsible for communicating federal regulations, reassignments, and accommodations to crew members at the planning level;</li> <li>Process and manage crew member requests including availability to fly on days off and trip trades. Process trip swaps, trip drops, sick calls, emergency leaves, and other daily schedule modifications;</li> <li>Report on daily scheduling and department</li> <li>Perform other duties as directed by the Manager of Crew Services or Director</li> </ul>
