Amerijet International, Inc Miami, Florida:<BR /><div><div><div><p><strong><span>SUMMARY</span></strong></p><p><span>Coordinate and schedule all flight crews for flights in a cost-effective manner. Attain an excellent understanding and operational skill at utilizing the crew scheduling software. Obtain travel and hotel accommodations for flight crews when applicable, prepare itineraries, and compile reports of transactions.</span></p><p><span></span></p><p><strong><span>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</span></strong><span>include the following, but not limited to:</span></p><p><span></span></p><ul><li><span>Maintain contract services activity files, sick time, vacation time, discrepancies, crewmember score files, bid files, and any misc. files pertaining to the crewing of flights.</span></li><li><span>Responsible for prompt &amp; professional telephone answering of crew scheduling lines as well as other OCC lines when duties permit and other areas are busy.</span></li><li><span>Publish the scheduled bids via crew scheduling software.</span></li><li><span>Publish and analyze vacation bids following procedures as established by policy.</span></li><li><span>Input vacation, sick, and unavailable-to-fly date in crew scheduling software. </span></li><li><span>Coordination of crew travel, including obtaining and/or reserving air travel, ground travel, and hotel rooms.</span></li><li><span>Initiate Crew Calls once notified by Load Control for flights that are loaded and ready</span></li><li><span>Update scheduling software with crews designated for flights posted.</span></li><li><span>Replace crewmembers when needed due to sickness, vacations, legality conflicts etc. </span></li><li><span>Reconcile Pilot Hours Report.</span></li><li><span>Assist Flight Control on misc. duties when scheduling work is completed.</span></li><li><span>Report any downtime in work to shift Supervisor for additional assignments.</span></li><li><span>Record /graph/report weekly and monthly scheduled service activity for distribution.</span></li><li><span>Responsible to fill in for excess work demands, absences due to sickness, vacations, etc. to cover the department.</span></li><li><span>Possess proficiency in general Microsoft Office software. </span></li><li><span>Update log page manager in crew scheduling software, validate crew legalities and the Turnover reports, and process APIS.</span></li></ul><p><span></span></p><p><strong><span>PERFORMANCE STANDARDS/MEASUREMENTS.</span></strong></p><p><span></span></p><ol start"1"><li><span>Achieve maximum efficiency of crews without risking the safety of the aircraft or crews.</span></li><li><span>Maintain a high degree of proficiency utilizing the crew scheduling software.</span></li><li><span>Maintain a rating of &ldquo;good&rdquo; or better at all times on semi-annual Performance Evaluations.</span></li><li><span>Maintain a satisfactory attendance record within acceptable guidelines as outlined in the company employee manual.</span></li><li><span>Consistently follows Company policies and procedures (including governmental and safety) and departmental Standard Operating Procedures.</span></li><li><span>Maintain established work standards consistent with quantity and quality on a consistent basis by process or function</span></li></ol><p><span></span></p><p><strong><span>QUALIFICATIONS:</span></strong></p><p><span></span></p><p><strong><span>EDUCATION and/or CERTIFICATION:</span></strong></p><p><strong><span></span></strong></p><p><strong><span>Required:</span></strong></p><p><strong><span></span></strong></p><p><span>&bull; High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent</span></p><p><span></span></p><p><strong><span>Preferred:</span></strong></p><p><span></span></p><p><span>&bull;Current Airline Crew Scheduling or Dispatch operational experience</span></p><p><span>&bull; Knowledge of software AIMS preferred, but not required</span></p><p><span>&bull; <span>Must be familiar with PC applications, type and use a keyboard</span></span></p><p><span>&bull; Knowledge of FAR (Federal Aviation Regulations) 121 operations</span></p><p><span>&bull; Ability to identify and resolve crew legality/scheduling conflicts</span></p><p><span>&bull; Ability to multi-task and perform under irregular operating conditions</span></p><p><span></span></p><p><span></span></p><p><strong><span>PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION:</span></strong></p><p><span></span></p><p><span>Minimal physical requirements with approximately 30 lbs. or less lifting requirements.</span></p><p><span></span></p><p><strong><span>TRAVEL</span></strong></p><p><span></span></p><p><span>Negligible</span></p><p><span></span></p><p><strong><span>ACKNOWLEDGMENT</span></strong></p><p><span>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature of workperformed in this position.
