We have created an environment where an individual’s ability to add value while working closely with colleagues, is both acknowledged and rewarded.</span></p></div> <strong><span>Summary:</span></strong> <p><span>Crew Logistics scheduler will be responsible for assigning crews to aircraft, contacting crewmembers for overtime if needed, scheduling duty days, off days, and sick days for all crewmembers. They will submit a weekly report to Fleet Logistics with crew assignments and notify the travel department to facilitate crew swaps as required.</span></p> <strong>&nbsp;</strong> <strong><span>&nbsp;Responsibilities:</span></strong> <ul> <li><span>Plans and assigns flight crews scheduled rotations</span></li> <li><span>Tracks and monitors crew duty and rest assignments to ensure legality and their availability</span></li> <li><span>Communicates duty assignment changes and various information to flight crews</span></li> <li><span>Coordinates crew availability for training events with the training department</span></li> <li><span>Responsible for obtaining alternate crew when crewing issues arise due to no-shows, illness, fatigue, legality issues, personal emergencies, or any other issues</span></li> <li><span>Maintains accurate information of flight crew system-wide including entering crewing notes to the flight operating system</span></li> <li><span>Assures all flight crews are qualified to perform duties, pursuant to regulations, equipment restrictions, and contractual restrictions</span></li> <li><span>Identifies potential flight crew issues or irregularities and communicates proposed alternative resolutions</span></li> <li><span>Ability to master Company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) relevant to crew scheduling and serves as a key resource in administering those policies to the flight crews, and members of management</span></li> <li><span>Serves as a single source for quick and accurate crew information</span></li> <li><span>Discuss crew status in daily fleet status meeting</span></li> <li><span>Responsible for crew time off requests</span></li> <li><span>Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Manager.</span></li> </ul> <strong><span><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></strong> <ul> <li><span>High School Diploma or (GED) required</span></li> <li><span>One year of crew scheduling and/or other logistical industry experience preferred</span></li> <li><span>Strong knowledge of FARs pertaining to FAA crew duty restrictions and rest requirements preferred</span></li> <li><span>Proficient using Microsoft Office applications and have aptitude to learn customized company software programs.</span></li> <li><span>One year of experience using crew scheduling software (FOS) preferred</span></li> <li><span>Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to highest ethical standards</span></li> <li><span>Excellent communication skills, both orally and written, in the English language required.</span></li> <li><span>Must be well-groomed and maintain a professional appearance</span></li> <li><span>Regular attendance and punctuality is required</span></li> <li><span>Must have a positive attitude</span></li> <li><span>Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the Jet Edge culture</span></li> <li><span>Must pass a background check, which could include fingerprinting, a pre-employment drug test, and criminal history records check (CHRC)</span></li> <li><span>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States</span></li> <li><span>Attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.</span></li> <li><span>Ability to work as a team member while meeting individual performance goals.</span></li> <li><span>Must be able to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment and demonstrate the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.</span></li> <li><span>Strong personal and work ethic along with a high level of integrity.</span></li> </ul> <div class"content-conclusion"><p><span><strong>Benefit Overview:</strong></span></p> <p><span>We offer a robust array of employee benefits including a variety of medical plans, company-paid parental leave, and 401(k) matching — to assist employees balance their professional and personal lives and plan for a fulfilling future.
