We have created an environment where an individual’s ability to add value while working closely with colleagues, is both acknowledged and rewarded.</span></p></div> <strong><span>Summary:</span></strong> <p><span>The principle purpose of the Crew Logistics Coordinator is to manage the logistics (travel) requirements for crew members in support of the flight operation scheduling and training events.&nbsp;</span></p> <strong><span><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></span></strong> <ul> <li><span>Plans and coordinates crew member logistical requirements as outlined by the daily flight schedule maintained by the Operation Control Center (OCC). (Air/Hotel/Ground transportation).&nbsp; Ensures that all “show time” and “crew rest” legality obligations are met</span></li> <li><span>Plans and coordinates crew member logistical requirements as outlined by the Flight Operations Training department (air/hotel/ground transportation) as well as travel for potential new hires (crew)</span></li> <li><span>Communicates logistical detail to the OCC or Training Department via the Flight Operations System (FOS) and notification to crew members</span></li> <li><span>Manages block hotel arrangements for scheduled air shuttle or high-volume locations</span></li> <li><span>Maintains active list of high volume (potential sell out) and blackout dates and coordinates with both the OCC and Revenue Management teams to ensure appropriate pre-booking, cancellation and event/holiday rates are accounted for in trip expenses</span></li> <li><span>Manages Traveler profiles adding or deleting travelers as required and up to date records of travel documents (Passport, DL, Known Traveler, Rewards Number affiliations)</span></li> <li><span>Advocate for crew members to ensure safe and satisfactory travel accommodations</span></li> <li><span>Assist with research of arrangement and spend deviations</span></li> <li><span>Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers</span></li> <li><span>Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Manager</span></li> </ul> <strong><span>Qualifications:</span></strong> <ul> <li><span>High School Diploma and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience</span></li> <li><span>Minimum of one (1) year experience booking travel in either a commercial airline, corporate travel department or a Part 135 charter operator preferred</span></li> <li><span>Prior experience with Sabre (Global Distribution System) Red or Blue preferred</span></li> <li><span>Prior experience with Rockwell Collins FOS (Flight Operating System) a plus</span></li> <li><span>Knowledge of FARs regarding crew duty in a Part 91, 125 or 135 airline operations a plus</span></li> <li><span>Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and aptitude to learn customized company software programs</span></li> <li><span>Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and be flexible to the changing needs of the business</span></li> <li><span>Must be detail oriented and able to work productively, independently or within a team</span></li> <li><span>Strong communication (verbal and written) skills with the ability to self-motivate, handle multiple tasks, meet established targets</span></li> <li><span>Must be results oriented and able to obtain a high level of familiarity quickly while maintaining a high level of professionalism while multi-tasking various real time situations</span></li> <li><span>Strong personal and work ethics along with a high level of integrity</span></li> <li><span>Jet Edge is a 365/24/7 operation and candidate must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as schedule dictates</span></li> </ul> <div class"content-conclusion"><p><span><strong>Benefit Overview:</strong></span></p> <p><span>We offer a robust array of employee benefits including a variety of medical plans, company-paid parental leave, and 401(k) matching — to assist employees balance their professional and personal lives and plan for a fulfilling future.
