The Scott flight kit rocks. You can buy a cheap flight kit every 24 months or buy one Scott and keep it for years!

On the same note, what would you consider a "Pilot Case"? The flight kit or the bag?

I ask because it is listed as one of the items I must have after the sim ride.

I would say a pilot case is a flight kit, not a crew bag. In the CRJ we are limited to 8 inches of hight as starting soon we have to fit our crew bags (rolling bags) onboard the aircraft, not in the cargo bay. Unfotunatly we don't have the extra room behind the cockpit seats that the ERJ does.

Is that the 22" with the Stabilizer strap across the front? Does your laptop fit in that one okay?

Without. I think the 23's got the strap on it.

I'm not very happy with the latest generation made under the name "LuggageWorks" but it may still be the only option.

Jeez, don't say that. I just bought one. Paid nearly a weeks salary for it. What's wrong with yours?
 
About three of my zippers broke and something else, I can't remember. It's in the shop as we speak!
 
I also have the Stealth bag from PNT. It's the greatest bag. The reason why its good is cuz the rampers can't throw it around in the back because its so sturdy. I hated those things when I was a ramper because it was always hitting me in the leg and I had to treat it with care or I would get hurt.

The only problem I've had so far is the little zipper grip thingy broke off the back.
