Fairly popular among the experimental community, extremely lightweight, pretty darn durable. Have used it in two different jets and liked it well enough, but want to try something different. Terrific passive hearing protection in a noisy piston single though.
When this headset was designed, they took a lot of design cues from the halo and improved it. I’d say it’s considerably more durable than a halo, and made with better materials. The microphone has an adjustable gain which is a very nice touch, and necessary considering the amount of isolation they built around it.
Used intermittently for two years, offered at half the price of a new one. Also have some ear tips to go with it.
