Is it normal to be nervous this far and advance?
[/ QUOTE ]
I suppose so ... I was never really nervous, even right before the ceremony. One of the ministers (one was from the church she grew up in, another was a family friend) asked me to hold out my hands right before it started, and was surprised to not see my hands shaking at all.

I'm kinda nervous about stepping on people's toes if they don't get a part in the wedding.

Natural feeling. And their will be someone who felt they should have a role, but you can't win 'em all.

I know my fiance is nervous about too many people giving her suggestions for the wedding that she doesn't like (decor, food, etc.) but I told her that this is our day and no one has any say in what we do.

HaHaHaHa!!!!! As long as you both have mothers, you will always have others nagging about what should be done here, there, and everywhere, who should be in the ceremony, the order of progression during the day, what the dress and tuxes ought to look like etc. Flowers, etc.
If her parents are paying for it, that will only increase the "I ought to have a say" syndrome.
It is your day, never forget it, but it won't seem like it until you've left the reception bound for honeymoon. Because you have a set routine for the ceremony, then a photographer ordering you around, then the obligatory visit all the tables and everyone who came to see you, cut the cake, dance, garter/bouquet ... etc.
I'm not saying it's a drag, a couple should visit with those who made a point to come (and more importantly bring gifts
), but it won't seem like your day at all.
My advice, enjoy it the best as you can. I had a large group play golf in the morning ... fired a nice little 39 [+3](only got 9-holes in--1:00pm wedding). Helped start the day off.
CONGRATS! I'm having a blast and our first kid is two months away ... I guess I'm having fun because we've only been married for 9 months now. (I know you're doing the math and we got pregnant after we were married
)
