Cough Medicine

Was out sick and doctor placed me on cough medicine with codeine. How long after last dosage do I have to wait to fly?

30 hours for codeine. Tessalon perles are OK though.

I went to the ENT for a persistent cough/throat clearing I have. He prescribed me benzonatate. I believe that is the same as Tessalon. Am I OK to start taking this?
