Corporate Aviation/Cargo Flying

How hard is it for one to get into corporate aviation? Do people usually go through the regionals first, or maybe start out flying heavy piston twins, then turboprops, then jets, or what.

How hard is it for one to get into cargo flying? Is that something you usually do after going through the airlines, or what.

The short answer is "network, network, network."

There are many routes to corporate aviation. Some have gone through the regionals, others through charter and still others through small freight such as checks and medical supplies.

The best thing to do is to set a course that's right for you and network your butt off.
