Cool UPS flight video

Fun Fact, the Pilot they interviewed has an arrival into KONT from the Ocean named after him. It was originally going to be the BLKMN1 arrival but the higher-ups poo-poo'd that so now its the KARLB arrival. Confuses the heck out of every pilot you issue to because we say it as "Karl-Bee" and some GTI or FDX guy once tried to argue with me that it should just be pronounced "Karlb".

Karl B was the guy in the right seat. Both pilots have given me line checks in the past. The left seat guy was also a light aircraft owner and DPE for many years but last I talked with him he doesn't do checkrides anymore.

Well the FedEx photobomb is the best thing I’ve seen on the internet today.

I’ve met Tom Hamm somewhere, but for the life of me I can’t think of where. Seems like a nice guy.

Ditto. Used them too for the video below (which I am not using to hijack this thread) on the MAX. I wonder if these guys minded waiting six minutes for the MAXs engines to start up?

TH did my PP-MEL and C-MEL. If you were a student of ATP out in Riverside then its a good chance hes examined a ride or two.
