I have looked at the website www.atpflightschool.com and I cannot find any information on how to contact them. I am going to be in the socal area next weekend and I am interested in touring both of the facilities that they have in that area. If anyone has a number that I can call or additional information (other than whats on the website) about either the Long Beach, or Riverside location please let me know.

Wow, that's durn-near a celebrity endorsement!

Email them at info@allatps.com. They're good people, trust me.

There is a place in Phoenix that has made it public to its instructors and staff to not hire ATP grads.

So people, don't go to Regional Airline Academy

Sure did.

Blackball the bastards. They suck anyway, way overpriced.

That's distressing. I can see if they were screwing students, but from experience they're straight-forward and honest.

Geez, more marketing wackoes?

A guy I know that instructs there told me if you trained at ATP and wanted a CFI job at RAA, don't bother because they would not hire you.

Is there anyway they could get into trouble for that?

Look at the Bottom of the Website you put in and you will see a big red box in the bottom right that says :
1-800-ALL-ATPS"
"(Mon-Fri 8am to 9pm; Sat & Sun 8am to 5pm ET)"

Probably couldn't get in trouble for it, but it's a pretty dumb thing. I met a couple of ATP cfi's at NetworkJC and they were absolutely 'top notch'. One even does a great 'Satchmo' during karaoke but that's another issue entirely.

I e-mailed ATP and asked about touring the facility, and they responded by saying that they only give tours of the Jacksonville campus.
Are there any JCers out there that are either students or instructors at the Long Beach location that would be willing to give me a short tour? Please PM me if you would be interested. Thanks

I'm going to Riverside right now. PM me if your in the area, I'd be happy to answer any questions, or even get together if I've got the time.

When I was making my decision to come here, I had no problem getting a tour of the RIV location and the VNY location (when it was open) and I just called the 800 number to set that up. I'd try calling again.

Not true. We will give a tour of any facility, we just ask that you schedule it in advance. You were given incorrect information.

Regarding phone numbers, we do not release the phone numbers of the individual offices, since all scheduling is done from the coroporate office. 90% of the time you would get an answering machine anyway, we are probably out flying.

Having just left the office to instruct at JAX, I can tell you that we only schedule tours in Jacksonville but you are more than welcome, and definitely encouraged, to drop by any location at any time to look around and ask qustions. We have nothing to hide!!

That's changed recently, we used to schedule tours anywhere. You guys still drop 'TCTOUR' on our schedule in Vegas...what gives?

No idea, really. The only thing we were able to "schedule" were ACPP interviews for those who already had their PVT. 'Course, I was only there a couple weeks and you know how quickly things can change.

That Could be the problem then..... he is not asking to schedule an "interview" (which costs $100 and is why it needs to be scheduled), just a tour so he can see the place.

I just got done visiting ATP at Jax (Craig Field). I just popped in and asked for a quick tour of the place and the girl answered some questions. Seems pretty laid back, the Seminole Frasca looked pretty nice...
