Connie

Yeah, they fly 74's. :hiya::D

From what I've heard, they want to see time in heavy's and would like (of course) you to have 74 time. Other than that, I know nothing!;) Good luck.

When I was working on my instrument, Kalitta Air dropped an engine in Lake Michigan. As far as I know it is still down there.

A wise man once told me the time to start looking for the next job is as soon as you get your current one...

Never trust an airplane unless

a) it is older than you (won't be a problem for you mikecweb, youngn)

b) it leaves its mark on the ramp via oil/fuel/hydraulic fluid leak
I forgot to save a Bed, Bath, and Beyond ad for you....sorry bout that.

So... does anyone have any useful information on Kalitta? What kind of hours do they want? My dream job is living in New York City, flying 747s trans continental. Kalitta does just that, and they have a base in Newark. What is the pay like? Do they require 747 time? If so, how do they get people? 747 time isn't exactly something you can get easily...
