It's one small step in aviation, but one giant leap for this pilot.
Almost eleven years have passed since I earned my private certificate. Other burning a lot of holes in the local area and cross-countries mostly staying in the mid-Atlantic region, not much else has happened.
I decided it was time to take on a new challenge and I don't quite have the time or funds to devote to instrument training, so taking advantage of the flight school's -172RG appeared to be an acceptable challenge.
At this point I'm looking to slowly work my way toward becoming a CFI as a part-time into retirement gig. If something else develops along the way ... Cool.
In the meantime, the -172RG seems like a worthy travel companion.
