Position Description
Manages and leads the day to day operation of the UAE C-17 Aircrew Training Site located in Abu Dhabi. Responsible for coordination of all on-site training activities with the UAEAF training team, the UAEAF C-17 Committee and the C-17 program office in St Louis. Leads the on-site subcontracted C-17 Aircrew and Maintenance team. Functions as the key Boeing leader of all C-17 aircrew training activities in UAE. Additionally teaches pilot initial qualification, upgrade and continuation training courses using a variety of media and training devices. Assesses participant learning and adjusts presentation to ensure successful understanding by all students. Leads instruction processes and assess the performance of students in C-17 flight simulators, classroom, learning center, and other aircrew training device environments. Maintains a high level of proficiency in instructional methods, aircrew training device, and aircraft system operations applicable to crew position through self-study and simulator/aircraft training scenarios. Perform subject matter expert (SME) duties to ensure courseware materials are current. Interacts and collaborates with internal/external team members. Leads all training site continuous process improvements. Develops solutions, in collaboration with team members and in accordance with established procedure and policies/guidelines. Performs analysis required to ensure products incorporate latest aircraft/machine technology interfaces. Conducts training classes for students and customers using established courseware materials for C-17 combat-crew trainees
