Are class acts!

I called to pick up 1 open pairing in BGM and basically was told "We don't need your help, don't call to pick up open time."

Makes me shake my head. Looks like I'm going to have to call Ginger or Sue.

Sue is always the person to call for the hook up. 4am - 2pm she is normally in. She also remembers when you help her out and tries to help out later on. However Im not sure if she is back yet. Her mother passed away a few weeks ago :(

Who is this CLINT guy?

His employee number is like 08XXX...so we're talking BRAND new.

I WILL remember this when Clint calls me on a day off begging me to work.

and THAT is the beauty of karma. I love it when the company needs help, but forget that they screwed you over a few weeks ago........you don't even need to put it in their face...just say no thanks, hang up, and go back to your margarita :yup:

Sue always seemed like she had it together.. or at least was the best of the bunch.. in a less than ideal situation she'd sell you up the river just like the rest though.

How many of the old schedulers got the axe?

Well due to out station basing, you didnt ever have the right people in the right places. So we would have to screw someone to work over time because the people on reserve where in another base. Just another reason why hub basing is so much better.

Go with Gina, she might be a little curt with some people but you can't get the open time outa ur mouth before she has it assigned to you. You will spend a VERY minimum time on the phone.

From march to october i never had a <100 credit month, 5 of those months were +120 hours credit, and the last month was 155 credit hours. Gina was my girl.

Are you sure that was the proper 4 letter word? :p

Although lately, she's been much much nicer on the phone. :)

You're a good guy Joe but I have to disagree with you big time here.

Gina is the devil but did try and give me that BGM pairing (30 in 7 issue). I could tell you a pay credit issue, but this is Colgan so you can imagine it. I should be getting 9 hours of pay credit, I got 30 mins.

Sue and Ginger are great to me.

Colgan guys...How much credit do we get for a MX Cancellation?

Whatever they feel like giving us. Remember we don't have a union. Make sure you thank everyone that you know that didn't vote. Really can't complain about anything bro!

True...True.

But the Flight Crewmember Policy Handbook says 2 hours or BLOCK...whichever is greater. They refuse to give me anything more than originally scheduled block.

Keep in mind we had 4 CX flights due to MX...plus 4 runups.

Gina would only give me 5:59. Get real!

I should be getting 9:00 hours...that one isn't over, but I'm sure I'll get sick of fighting and bend over.

What makes the Flight Crewmember Policy Handbook a legal contract?

Without a contract, it is nothing more than scrap paper.

Ya you might as well use that handbook as toilet paper, basically whatever you can argue your way into you will get. Fighting for pay really sucks, but it's what we have to do here.

I wasnt even trained on that kind of stuff when I worked there. MX and WX cancellations I just kind of winged it. Someone would call in and ask about how much they where to get paid and I would be like "uhmm... let me ask someone." No one EVER knew the answer. Then when someone would say "oh they get half credit for what they where supposed to fly" but then of course the flight had been canceled and there was no way to find out how long the flight was scheduled for because crewtrac had kicked it out. The system was not very good with MX and WX. Im sorry guys :(
