Cleveland Jobs

Ehh not much around here really. There T&G flight school out of Burke and a few other surrounding airports but I dont know if they are hiring. You could also try Premier Flight school they have planes at Burke and Fulton. Theres a skydive operator just south of Wadsworth that might need another jump pilot for the summer but that wouldnt full time just fill in type stuff. They are based out of Hilty. Theres a pipeline patrol outfit out of Ashland that is bidding for a few new lines right now and if they get them will need a few pilots to fill those lines. Dont know much else about them other then the company is called blue light aviation. Griffin Island Airlines might be somewhere to hit up if your willing to drive to sandusky. They do all the island flying and have two King Airs that do charter work. Not sure if they are hiring but doesnt hurt to drop in and talk to someone. Other then that theres various small flight schools at just about every airport but they tend to have a few independent instructors that have a strangle hold over the students so its tought to get business with them.

What are your times I'll keep my eye out and let you know if I hear anything.

I saw TH doing training in their Apache over the weekend.
If you meet 135 mins, there's Castle and Priority Air, but you need to be uber close to Priority to meet their callout time. Somebody just got hired by Castle so I don't know if they have another opening or not.

There's a commuter company operated out of Burke Lakefront. (I'm guessing they are freight dawgs)

Yeah, that's "Central Commuter." Central Air. Last I heard they're not hiring for any routes right now, and that BKL is not a base, just a stopover.

On the orange site today it shows that Premier Flight Academy out of CGF and CAK is hiring. They also have an office at KBKL.
Just got intel that they have a noncompete! (Maurus-did you have this foolishness, or is it a new thing?)

Go through the interview process and just refuse to sign it when the time comes. If they need you bad enough then great! If not, well, who cares...

Or just tell 'em to pay you a livable salary since you can't supplement your income any other way through your skill sets.

Don't forget that Commutair, Chautauqua and ExpressJet have domiciles in CLE. Although there is no gaurantee you'll get it, it's better than nothing.
