Classic situational interview questions

Does any one have some thoughts one what to say to questions such as......

-You see the captain drinking less than 8 hours before the flight WWYD?

-Ever broken an FAR?

-You are at the hold short bars and the captain turns to you to ask if you are ready to go and you smell alcohol WWYD?

-Captain continues below minimums after you have called for the missed approach WWYD?

Call him on it right away, I'm not sure what I would do if he tells me to mind my own buisness, but he wuldn't go flying tomorow.

You can't fly a plane without breaking a FAR somewhere somehow.

"No, I'm not ready" then I wouyld make up some reason to go back the gate.

"Captian we're below MDA, execute missed aproach, GO AROUND!"
 
I'll take a stab..


1. Call chief pilot first..or go about company policy before reporting him to FAA ect ect course if you are in an interview... you don't know the company policy but that's how i'd answer it.. good q..

2. Yes during training, learned from it ect ect woops my bad..be honest. Honestly counts.

3. geez.. this late in the game and you smell alcohol... i'd be leary and think, "sheesh strong aftershave..or.. maybe he snuck a drink in.." - i'd probably back him up anything went screwy on t/o I'd take over and face the wrath of a upset capt. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

4. announce over the radio that flight blah blah is going around.. thus if he DOES continue HE will be in violation...again probably face the wrath of the capt and major explaining to do to HR

messy situation on #3...
