This is one of those curiousity questions... someone who has a Cl-65 type rating could fly what....? I know the CRJ is CL-65, but what about a challenger 600? 604? 601? I know there is differences training for the different models but are they all under the same type?

so on the corporate side that would just be the challenger 600? or also the 601 and 604?

The 600 and 601 are the same type rating. The 604 is seperate. That AC that NJACapt posted is a great reference...I didn't even know that it existed. It does appear somewhat out of date as there are now more Challengers - I'm sure that the 605 is the same type rating as the 604 as it is mainly an avionics change. The Challenger 300 also has it's own type rating. And actually you CAN fly a Challenger on a CL65 type rating - the corporate version of the CRJ is marketed as a 'Challenger 850' :D

(I hold CL600, CL604, and CL65 type ratings...among others)
