Meet requirements of FAR 135.243
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary responsibility of pilot positions is to provide pilot services for aircraft owners and on-demand charter customers utilizing safety and customer service standards that meet or exceed industry recommendations. Pilots are tasked with performing their duties to ensure that the aircraft and its staff meet and maintain the requirements of DB Aviation’s Part 135 certificate, DB Aviation’s Operations Manual, DB Aviation’s Maintenance standards and that all Charter activities are performed in concurrence with DOT and FAA regulations.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
• Responsible for maintaining availability.
• Assists in performing, coordinating or designating flight and record keeping activities.
• Ensures aircraft is ready and stocked prior to all trips.
• Performs job exercising responsible expense control including, but not limited to, road fuel, all travel and other operating expenses.
• Performs job guided by standardized and coordinated procedures used by all crewmembers to meet DB Aviation, Inc. standards.
• Completes required testing, flight and line checks, and currency requirements as well as responsible for tracking of duty/rest time compliance.
• Maintains and ensures that record keeping is complete, accurate and timely. Submits pilot duty logs monthly as due.
• Consistently performs all crew duties and activities to meet Part 135 requirements.
• Builds and maintains good working relationships with customers, Flight Operation staff and Charter scheduling personnel.
• Holds self accountable to perform duties consistent with DB Aviation’s Presidential Service standards, guided by our Core Values of Integrity, Customers, Initiative, Continuous Improvement, Dignity and Respect and Having Fun.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimums stated above.
• ATP
• First Class Medical
• Previous experience in both Part 91 and 135
environments, a plus.
• Must possess teamwork qualities (such as a sense of fairness, desire and ability to promote teamwork, ability to accept constructive criticism and assist co-workers, sense of humor, and the desire and ability to create and maintain positive working relationships).
• Exceptional customer service skills required coupled with a sense of urgency and high energy!
• Good problem-solving and judgment capabilities.
• Must have proper command of the English language, possessing excellent written and verbal communication.
