Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Does anyone have any training and performance numbers available?
Great numbers. The goal is to replace our heavily upgraded King Air 200. We will be doing a lot of 1000nm legs into 4000-5000' runways. Boss wanted to shave time off the longer legs but not lose the ability for some of the smaller airports. You want TO and Land numbers?
We never had a problem, going to FL410 at max weight. It usually cruised around .72-.73. Landing numbers were in the low 3000' normally, sometimes in the upper 2000' range. Had better landing numbers than the C550. 16500 max TO weight, 15200 max landing... landed like a truck.
Not much IMC time at 350 for hours on end, but an extra 6000 feet would help some times.Ultra is a great airplane! You will love it over the 200. Not that the 200 it's a nice airplane but after flying the Ultra the only thing you might miss is the IMC time![]()

The only problem I worry about is baggage. Occasionally we fly the work crews into a site and their gear bags are close to golf bags in size along with a more normal size suitcase.
Great sounds like this would work well! The baggage was doable. The rear baggage outside the plane held a decent amount. We usually could get 5 or 6 sets of clubs in there and 3 sets up front if we took a ton of people. Plus there is an area on the inside opposite the lav that can hold 3 to 4 suitcases stacked properly. You can fit a surprising amount into it.
You will be above it 99% of the time and through it fast enough not really amount to anything most of the time.Ultra is a great airplane! You will love it over the 200. Not that the 200 it's a nice airplane but after flying the Ultra the only thing you might miss is the IMC time![]()
