Cirrus SR22

Anybody flown a Cirrus SR22? What are your likes and dislikes? Is it a good stable safe airplane?

I've got a little time in one...amazing airplane. The side stick is completely natural, I liked it a lot more than the conventional setup. The thing has some serious get up and go too. If your used to 172s and Warriors it takes some adjusting to, initially it's a little heavier work load in order to stay ahead of the airplane. After you get used to it there should be no problem, though.

I don't have a whole lot of time in one so that's about all the insight I can give ya. I know some other people around here have a considerable amount of time in them, that should be able to help ya out more.

Couple of hours in one. Love the side stick very comfortable smooth and stable. Very crisp on the controls. Does great in a barrel roll! and steep turns. I would contact cirrus and get a demo flight. If your a CFI and refer someone who buys a Cirrus you get a small kickback. The flat panel screen was hard to get used to having used the old six pac before but is great when familier with. Landings seemed a flat compared to the cessnas and pipers. Stalls were easy to reconize and recover from. A great airplane overall I would own one if I could.
