Hey guys-

I was just curious if any of you in the Dallas/Arlington area know of a decent Church of Christ in the area?

I know maybe I won't have time to be a "regular attendee" but I would like to go when I'm able..

Thanks guys!

Jeff

I would check yahoo yellow pages or something. Thats what i did when i was in Jax.

You make your own schedule with your instructor, so if you let him know you wouldlike to attend church on sunday mornings, you guys may be able to work around it. its all about being flexible.

However, when your in the cross country phase thats a different story. Dont plan on being home too often during that part of the course. but its a great time. good luck.

Tram,
I know of a great church you can go to if you decide to come to the Dallas location. It is called Waterview Church of Christ in Richardson. I played college football with the youth minister there and he would love to have you come and visit during your time in Dallas. I'm sure it could be another home away from home if you know what I mean. Drop me a line and let me know if you are interested. I'll give you my friends name then. The website for the church is www.wview.org
Talk to you later.

You're in the bible belt--there's a church on every corner (Church of Christ on every fourth corner ;-). It won't be hard to find one that works for you.

Adam-

Where did you play ball at? I played a little college ball..

I would love to get together with your friend!

Tram I played ball at Stephen F. Austin State University. I played for 4 years and finished my degree the 5th. It worked out great because I didn't pay for anything. I know my friend would love to have you come visit during your 90 days. Merlin is right of course (my little padewan learner he is my student

) ....there is a church on just about every corner. There is bound to be something you'll like. I am very proud of Merlin though he is almost finished with his 90 day program!!! Where did you play football at?

I played for a little bit at the University of North Alabama.. Not very long, only 1 semester.. I played all through high school and didn't want to play out of high school, so for my first few semesters I didn't play, then a friend and I walked on.. I wound up quitting as I was just burnt out, the team hated each other, it wasn't a very fun expirence..

Yeh, there are churches on every corner, but not all churches are "alike."
