Eastern Airlines High Point, North Carolina:<BR />The Chief Pilot will report directly to the Director of Operations. It will be the Chief Pilot’s responsibility to supervise all flight crew members. Specific duties are as follows:&nbsp;<div><ol><li>Qualify as Chief Pilot under 14 CFR Part 121, Management Personnel.<br /></li><li>Provide leadership and liaise with the FAA, and within the company.<br /></li><li>Show exceptional initiative and provide creative solutions to conduct safer and more effective flight operations.<br /></li><li>Keep accurate and up to date pilot record files to include copies of medical certificates, pilot certificates, and keep all records secured.<br /></li><li>Ensure that each pilot has received his/her initial or recurrent training.<br /></li><li>Supervise all crew member training programs.<br /></li><li>Assist the Director of Operations in creating and enforcing operations policies.<br /></li><li>Monthly scheduling and daily assignment of crews.<br /></li><li>Assist Director of Operations in all phases of operations as directed by the DO.<br /></li><li>Maintain current aircraft checklists and aircraft status sheet.<br /></li><li>Delegate functions to other personnel, but retains responsibility.<br /></li><li>Maintain, implement, or ensures the highest hiring standards are being employed.<br /></li><li>Monitor and coach pilot performance, sharing of knowledge, and evaluation for potential advancement.<br /></li><li>Develop and monitor all relative operation guidelines including pilot conduct and professional appearance.<br /></li><li>Instruct and monitor pilots in the use of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).<br /></li><li>Must be highly knowledgeable of the Operations Manual, FAA Regulations, Operations Specifications, Flight Manuals and other instructions pertinent to the duties and the operations of the company.<br /></li><li>Maintain company manuals.<br /></li><li>Maintain up to date Flight Manuals in each aircraft.<br /></li><li>Work with the Director of Safety, Director of Operations, and Management team to implement and maintain the Safety Management System.<br /></li><li>Provide initiative for continuous process improvement programs.<br /></li><li>Monitors compliance with applicable safety standards (DOT, FAA, OSHA).<br /></li></ol></div>
