Requirements: </strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Report to the Director of Operations and act on behalf of the Director of Operations in his/her absence</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Maintain proficiency as PIC in Falcon 50/900/2000, Gulfstream IV, or Lear 45 and fly as required</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Interview pilot candidates, make hiring recommendations, and conduct annual pilot performance reviews</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Supervise flight crew personnel, serve as point of contact for questions, and mentor and develop the pilot team</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Schedule pilot training efficiently in order to minimize schedule disruptions</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Assist Crew Scheduler in creating rotation schedules, approving vacation time and schedule requests ensuring the fleet has appropriate pilot coverage</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Advise the Director of Training regarding training of flight crew personnel</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Establish and maintain records as required by the Federal Aviation Regulations, training vendors, and company policies and monitor the maintaining of these records</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Manage the preparation and maintenance of proficiency records, pilot files, flight schedules, reports, and correspondence pertaining to flight operations activities</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Perform an active role in Dumont JETS&#8217;s Safety Management System</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Communicate as appropriate with regulatory authorities regarding issues related to the safety and quality</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Process and take action on accident, incident, and/or flight crew reports</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Develop, implement, and review the standard operating procedures</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Identify deficiencies, then develop, implement, and verify preventative and corrective measures</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Liaise with other department heads to resolve issues and increase operational efficiencies</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Additional duties as assigned</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Must meet the minimum requirements to serve as a Chief Pilot as required by FAR 119.71(C)</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Must have at least 3 years&#8217; experience, within the past 6 years, as pilot in command of an aircraft operated under part 121 or part 135</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Minimum total time: 5,000 hours</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Minimum PIC time on turbo jet: 1,000 hours</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Type rating for at least one or more of the following aircraft types preferred: Gulfstream IV, Falcon 50/900/2000, Lear 45</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Valid Airline Transport Pilot License</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Bachelor&#8217;s degree required</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Previous management experience required</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Previous Part 135 Chief Pilot experience preferred</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Continual on call availability during non-business hours</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Exceptional customer service skills</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Ability to analyze and problem solve in a fast pace environment</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Strong organization and communication skills</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span>This is a safety sensitive position which requires pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing</li> </ul> <p><strong><em>Aviation Personnel currently offers: </em></strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span><em>.50 cents per mile up to $200.00 Travel Pay on your first check, Plus a $100.00 longevity Monthly bonus!</em></li> <li><span style="font-family: Symbol;"> </span><em>Great benefits like: Holiday Pay, Vacation Pay, $100.00 referrals fees and FREE Direct Deposit.
