STS Technical Services Oshkosh, Wisconsin:<BR /><img class"alignnone wp-image-118209" src"https://www.ststechnicaljobs.com/wp...Chief-Engineers-Machine-Intelligence-Jobs.jpg" alt"Chief Engineers (Machine Intelligence) Jobs" width"1200" height"628" /><a href"Home">STS Technical Services</a> is hiring <strong>Chief Engineers </strong>in <strong>Oshkosh, Wisconsin</strong>.<br /><h3>Position Summary:</h3><br />Assume responsibility of engineering management position within a company and work within advanced engineering groups regarding development of intelligent products and on-board implementation of machine intelligence. The work encompasses development, verification and validation of artificial intelligence or machine learning algorithms, prescriptive and predictive analytics and applications to vehicle platforms or systems using embedded or edge computing hardware. The target platforms or systems include, but not limited to, conventional, hybrid or electric vehicle powertrains, advanced suspensions, material handling and other auxiliary equipment for on-road and off-road applications.<br /><h3>Duties & Responsibilities:</h3><br /><ul><br /> <li>Plan and direct projects related to research and development, verification, and validation, testing and production implementation of machine intelligence.</li><br /> <li>Analyze key performance indices including performance, weight, cost or reliability target for development, implementation, or production</li><br /> <li>Develop cost estimation and schedules to meet customers’ needs or requirements</li><br /> <li>Develop enhancement or alternative strategies based on results or customer’s feedbacks</li><br /> <li>Communicate with customers through oral communication, proposal, or presentation</li><br /> <li>Lead research and development on relevant technologies and</li><br /> <li>Establish visions or roadmaps for the team according to the needs of programs</li><br /> <li>Support or direct proposal effort with regards to acquiring appropriate funding or proposal efforts</li><br /> <li>Develop relationship with government customers, industrial partners, and universities for advanced product development</li><br /> <li>Lead the development of machine intelligence in data analytics or model-based development (MBD) environment using relevant tools (such as RTOS/Linux, Python, Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow etc.) and supervise vehicle testing and eventual production implementation.</li><br /> <li>Determine priorities on tasks and ensure roles and responsibilities in the team are well understood</li><br /> <li>Prepare plan and work assignment for team members</li><br /> <li>Provide guidance or assistance to ensure projects completion on schedule and performance</li><br /> <li>Enforce proper use of engineering design practices, data analytics tools and coding standards, modeling/simulation standards, and embedded controls software development standard, CMMI procedures in the development and ensure the technical issues are resolved within the framework of company policies and procedures.</li><br /> <li>Maintain effective communication with suppliers, customers, and internal departments concerning technical issues affecting programs.</li><br /> <li>Provide management and guidance on resource planning, scheduling, and administration.
