Ravn Alaska Anchorage, Alaska:<BR /><link /> <link /> <strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong><p>The Ravn Alaska Chief Aircraft Dispatcher is a part of the Flight Operations team ensuring a high standard of Operational Control and safety of flight for all aircraft operations, whether Part 121 Domestic, Part 121 Supplemental or Part 91 Non-Routine Flight Operations. The Chief Dispatcher works in collaboration with the Director of Operations in the safe administration of the Dispatch department, which includes responsibility for final decisions that ensure optimal balance of reliability, resource utilization, customer service, and profitability. Other responsibilities aligned with Ravn Alaska Core Values include but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>Prioritizing the <strong>safety</strong> of the operation by gathering, reviewing, and issuing aviation weather and Notice to Air missions (NOTAMs) to ensure the safe initiation and continuation of flights.</li><li>Proving dedication and <strong>commitment</strong> to team members through positive and proactive communication, using effective leadership techniques to encourage collaborative efforts amongst Dispatch and other departments within the organization. </li><li>Exemplify <strong>integrity</strong> by setting up goals and targets to accurately assess the department&39;s overall performance, while regulating measurement processes. The Chief Dispatcher implements changes to processes and procedures with safety and efficiency of activities and services in mind, as well as the team’s performance and engagement.</li><li>Keeping <strong>connectedness </strong>in mind when addressing departmental challenges, ensuring qualified Dispatchers are staffed appropriately for all anticipated operational needs, working with leadership and Human Resources to support recruiting efforts.</li><li>Showing <strong>reliability</strong> through effective and accurate communication about the company’s aircraft movements so all relevant parties are aware of flight and aircraft status.</li><li>Promoting <strong>commitment</strong> by engaging in courteous and respectful interactions and leading by example, extending service excellence to internal and external contacts.</li></ul>
