You still have not responded to all the questions from our earlier post. For example, if its a classified program, how can you be talking about it on the web? And who at jc were you talking about that already knew the chemtrail story? (# 26 above)


Your chemtrail explanation so far has been great. But then you and Murdoughnut start talking about 911 but don't explain what your talking about. I'm not accusing either of you of trolling. It's obvious that both of you are serious and have put thought into it. And I realize that there are connections between things. But how are we supposed to know what you were driving at with that side trip?

PSM, the Solar Radiation Flights (SRM) topic belongs in the Global Warming debates. . Pilots should be well informed on the SRM topic, and its intended role in fighting GW, but they have not been so far. . Years ago, the Government put out a disinformation campaign regarding ChemTrail flights and pilots unwittingly helped spread the disinformation, attaching a stigma to the topic. . But JC Members who read/listened to the Lawrence Livermore Lab scientists, and other sources posted here, should now have a better understanding of the real story behind the so-called chemtrails.

There is a fair amount of interest in Global Warming on JC. . Most of the important info is scattered about on other JC threads. . Only the SRM/GeoEngineering flight info was missing. . To address your post questions and gmails I'm going to refer you to the links below. . These JC Members have studied the subject and write very well on the topic. . Only the knowledge of SRM/GeoEngineering is missing from their debate. . But this is still where the core debate is....click the links to get there.

This is a great thread. I love the fact that there may at least be a small bullet we can shoot at the problem. However, a huge problem is the denial mechanism firmly entrenched in this and other countries. Richard Craniums like Santorum in nationally televised presidential debates calling AGW "Junk Science", and of course all the ditto heads/ Beck followers believing because they said so. A complete lack of critical thinking. I was so disgusted reading about Santorum calling it junk science while standing on a pile of coal just after accepting something on the order of $150K from a coal coalition or something similar.

Can you imagine if he got in office? This whole thread would be made pointless.

The big issue right now is getting people to believe that the problem is real, not actually doing something about it. But the denialsphere is huge, and at this point, pretty much un-poppable.

I don't have a fixed position on the cause(s) or sources of Climate Change. . However, I agree with you regarding the denial and denailsphere problem you raise. . The dialogue needs to mature, if we still have time. . Some people ridicule the Global Warming discussion, or any discussion that brushes on the term ChemTrail. . Some who wish to discuss the prospect of these GeoEngineering flights, do not, to avoid being ridiculed themselves. . The vast majority of serious feedback I get on the latter subject comes by PM or gmail, from persons who want to comment on it, but in confidence. .

Hence the traveling lecture series by Lawrence Livermore Lab scientists (post #2). . At some point we need to stop giggling and snickering. . Stop calling each other nut cases, without bothering even to listen. . The discussion needs to mature and become public.

I often look down at the shadow of us in the clouds when they're below us, and see our trails behind us if the light is right, and the clouds are in the right spot and giggle thinking to myself :"I wonder if there are any conspiracy theroy people down there looking at this right now. What do they think of me?"..... if most of the people who claim that this is a conspiracy did 10 minutes of research... nut cases that thinks our government is ....trying to manipulate the weather, or whatever they think, they wouldn't look so foolish......

I still think that more information is needed. If there was something that we could do, other than drill out ice in Antarctica to guess what happened. I say guess because even thought, yes, it does tell us how things happened over years/decades/centuries just because we have that doesn't mean that we have good answers.

Overall I think that we can sum up SRM and Global Warming/Climate Change/Challenge to yes, there is an issue but we don't know what is actually going to happen, nor the affect we will have if we attempt to do anything. Test flights are occurring, whether we have knowledge about it or not. The problem is that we need more information and we are presently in an instantaneous society that wants to jump/leap into things whether they fully understand what the issues are. So that they can move on to what the next big thing to come out of Hollywood.

1) Classified information - I've published no Classified information that isn't also available from a publicly available, open source. . Most of my sources have been links to url .gov and similar associated sources. . The Gov sometimes has a difficult time coordinating its positions between agencies, or it will have different agencies handle similar info in different manners. . As you saw in post #2, the Gov sent out their Lawrence Livermore Lab scientists to introduce the scientific community to SRM/ChemTrail flights, then published their lecture/meeting on the web. . The same with Aurora (NASA) Flight Sciences. . The Council on Foreign Relations did the same. . The US Patent Office is publishing patents discussing adding metal oxides to commercial jet fuel to create these SRM/Chem Trails. .This Chem/SRM program is in the process of transitioning from a Classified test program, into a public program. .

2) 911 - I've gotten quite a few inquiries on that. . We did briefly touch on it here, but I don't want to divert there on this thread. . It wasn't part of the arrangement JC pre-approved for this thread. . So far this thread has been relatively civilized, covering information few people have seen before, and don't have hardened ideological positions on yet. . The 911 debate brings out hardened, passionate positions that quickly turn ugly. .I'd prefer to end this thread the way it started, without a fight. .

How far do we go though? Do we do simple things like stop manufacturing and selling incandescent bulbs? Or, do we impose millions upon millions in taxes on industries like the airline industry because they're spewing too much carbon dioxide?

A question I would like from those who are sure it is man made: What should we as a country do about it?

Maybe another reason so many are sceptical is because it seems to be such a convenient "truth" for Al Gore and others who are profiting from all of this.

And with that, I'm outta this thread. Like I said, it always turns political and gets heated. I just don't feel like getting into a pissing contest......

For some reason people think the Governments of the world will wait around forever until citizens stop arguing, can agree on the science, and what should be done about it. . That's not going to happen. . The Chem seeding SRM Flights are considered too controversial and complex for the public to wrap its head around. . Folks are too ideologically driven. . Like most everything else, the Government will get started without citizen consent, while citizens avoid the topic and argue.

A few posts on the related subject of Obama's White House Science Advisor, Dr. Holdren (ie., his statements on eugenics and SRM technology/flights) were removed at my request so that this thread could stay in the General Section.

SteveC did a nice job of reconstructing the posts in a new thread located in the Lav. They've only asked that the Holdren/eugenics/SRM flight issue be discussed in the Lav, as they do not consider it sufficiently aviation related.
