There is a guy over in Germany who builds r/c planes about the same size as that model, and he puts REAL turbo fan engines on them.....sooooo cool.....but ummmmm.....$$,$$$

..... I've seen some pics of some of his 777's, 747's, and Concordes.......pretty cool stuff - they look very realistic...

I've been looking into getting into r/c aviation for quite some time....tried once but never finished the plane I bought, but I'll try to give it a another shot in the future, probably.......

do you know where i can see any of those pics.
rc obviously is nothing like the real thing but it sure is fun, i just finished up my latest project lanacair columbia... beautiful GA plane....

One of the big turbofan manufactures built a concorde that was 17 feet long, and ran off 4 turbine engines. The aircraft cost in the region of 6 figures. I got out of model airplanes before it flew, and never heard a word about it.

I once saw a 144" wingspan B-25 crash - it was a great scale model. The guy must have drowned out his tears with beers that night.

Sorry, but I'm not sure where you can see the pics....... It was a while ago since I saw them. Maybe do a search on google. I will talk to one of my friends to see if he knows....I'll let u know if he does.

Here are the pics... They are pretty poor quality images, but you get the idea! (If the pics don't display, right click on the area where they should be and select "show picture" from the menu)

I have been into R/C Flying for almost 14 years myself...

yeah that's what I thought! Its not even detailed or anything. Hell for $2500 I'd want operating cargo doors and a full interior!
