Any recommendations for an inexpensive twin to rent in the socal area? Myself and at least 2 friends of mine are looking.

Try these guys. I have never used them personally but I have heard good things from a few who have. Block is $159/hr for the Twin Comanche. 100 hours gets you $148/hr.

Me and TheAlchemist rented that Twin Comanche from Fly Corona.
Rule number one, don't ever rent an airplane from anywhere in Corona. NEVER. Everyone "in the know" knows not to go there for anything. That airport is one enormous abortion of an aviation community. Most of those pilots need to be not only violated, but also locked up.
That Twin Comanche gave us an engine failure on rotation. Had that happened on our last takeoff on a shorter strip, we could have been dead.
There's a reason you can rent a twin in Corona for 148.00/hr. They're all heaps of sh *t.

EMT has two schools with twins. FAST has a Duchess. Universal has a Seneca.
