ANYONE KNOW THE CLOSEST AIRPORT TO CHARLESTOWN RACE TRACK IN WEST VIRGINIA? OR THE BEST WAY TO FLY IN THERE TO A NEARBY FIELD?

NAH, THATS CHARLESTON..dont ask me why there are two similarly named cities,but I am looking for the charlestown race track. seperated by about 100+ miles. i saw it last night from the air leaving mrb, but was wondering if there was a closer field i could land at.

I think your best bet would be to go into KMRB. There may be an airport in Harper's Ferry but I am I think it is private.

It's KMRB. Next best bet is probably KFDK or KOKV (both about 45 minutes --drive-- away).

Definately KMRB, next two would be KOVV and KHGR. But not nearly as close as KMRB

I hear the WVA "clubs" are real class acts....i might have to check it out. thanks for the info. We will probably just grab a taxi from MRB.....looks like that is the closest.
