Check Six LLC Greenwood Village, Colorado:<BR />CFII FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR – JOB POSTING<br /><br />POSITION: Private CFII Flight Instructor. A doctor and business executive are looking for a motivated aviator to coach them across the IFR finish line. Both own Cirrus SR22T’s and are aviation enthusiasts. Both have had a dream to earn their IFR certificate, but pressing schedules have prevented that goal... until now!<br /><br />WHO SHOULD APPLY: Talented/gifted pilots seeking to 1) teach their fellow aviators to become better pilots, specifically to obtain their IFR certification. 2) Accumulate hours at a competitive pace. 3) Receive better pay. 4) Fly a high performance aircraft. 4) Have a flexible employment “start/end” term that fits your life goals/objectives. The position is open to aviation students in their junior year, to graduating seniors looking for transitional summer employment, and to more experienced pilots seeking a “change of view!”<br /><br />PAY: Total Compensation = $6,300/mo. Cash salary of $4,500/mo. Personal use of N12TF (2016 Cirrus SR22T, see pic below) for 4hrs/mo. Go anywhere, see anything, have the plane to yourself! Renting a G5 Cirrus SR22T (wet) is $450/hour at KAPA, an equivalent non-cash compensation of $1,800/mo.Additionally, your first 3 days will consist of Cirrus “transitional training” which includes ground school and 8-10 hours of PIC flight time. Our company’s cost to provide you with the Cirrus blue ribbon 3-day<br />factory training program is $1,000/day. Out-of-state and need Denver accommodations? No problem! Compensation can be modified to assist you with housing during the term of commitment.<br /><br />START DATE: This is a new position with immediate availability. Total term of employment depends on your personal goals and how those coincide with our company needs. An important topic for further discussion!<br /><br />WORK WEEK? A precise schedule is unpredictable since much of the instruction will coincide with business and/or pleasure trips, some of which may be announced the evening before. This is not a 9-5 job per se, but generally 35+hrs/wk. Dual hour instruction should approximate between 80hrs -120hrs per month.<br /><br />Qualifications:<br /><br />l 350+hrs is preferred, more is a plus<br />l 25+hrs of high performance time is a plus<br />l Cirrus Prospective Garmin G1000 is a plus<br />l CFI, CFII<br />l 25+hrs instruction time is preferred, more is a plus<br />l Do others know you as a patient person?<br />l Do others consider you to be a “clear communicator?”<br />l Is personal hygiene important to you?<br /><br /><div>WHERE: KAPA is the 3rd busiest D airport in the U.S. The traffic is FUN and will make you a better pilot. Our F18 Fighter is in for service this summer, sorry!</div><br />PART OF THE JOB: Monthly avionic updates, keep the hanger and planes spiffy clean, perform miscellaneous errands/tasks as requested. You must have an iPad and be proficient in ForeFlight.<br /><br />TEACHING STYLE: People learn best when fully engaged in what they’re learning.
