I just did my SE add-on to my CFI ticket today. I had taken the MEI as the initial CFI at the FSDO exactly 2 weeks ago. The oral was less than one hour total, and the flight was .9. I would recommend doing the multi first, and it makes the SE cake. Also with the MEI initial there are no lazy 8's, 8's on pylons, and so on, so the MEI initial is not that bad either. Now its on to the CFI-I and I will be finished with checkrides of my own for 1000 or so hours.
