"Never tell me the odds!"
I am sure I know the answer on this but I thought I would throw it out there.
I've got a Helicopter CFI-I. Its been a little over a year since I did an approach in a helicopter therefore I am not current for IFR in helicopters and since its been over a year I need a IPC. No big deal I do regular fixed wing approaches in the course of my normal job. Does that make me a Bi-aerodynamic aviator?
However I had another CFI-I tell me since I just renewed my flight instructor certificates it reset the clock for me and I don't need a IPC.
This doesn't make any sense to me but the fellow CFI-I swears up and down its correct. I think he is an idiot (he flies helicopters after all).
