you and my wife, both. She refuses to go to the Circus, or anything with clowns:)
 
It was said above, but I'll reiterate and agree: CFIs are professional pilots, but only if they live up to the definition of what a professional is. This also applies to other pilot careers in aviation, whether it is airline, charter, corporate, or freight. Yes, you are a professional, but you don't truly attain that label just by gaining employment.
