I have gotten my AGI about 2 years ago and am now working on becoming a CFI since I have my AGI are they going to ask me more in the FOI area or less if any at all?

Probably the same as any other initial CFI. Since the AGI does not have an associated practical test, there is no relief allowed on testing that area during the initial CFI test. Of course there is always the chance the examiner won't conduct the test correctly, but I'd certainly recommend being prepared to discuss the FOI subjects.

I have heard it go both ways. Some DPE just skip through FOIs quickly since you have the AGI. Then I have heard of being grilled because you have a ground instructor certificate and should know it all. So unless you have a specific gouge on the examiner giving your oral you better go well prepared all around. Good Luck

Examiners can grill you on any of the material in the PTS that they want to- which for the CFI means everything & anything about any rating you could possibly teach, including the FOI. It just depends how much time they want to spend grilling you.
