With a heavy heart everytime something like this happens ... my thoughts go out to all those involved.
 
Certainly horrible for all effected by such a tragic loss. On a side note, however, I can't imagine working so hard for so long and spending so much money to have the opportunity to fly a Citation only to end up crashing. What a nightmare.

They updated the link I posted up there since this morning. Looks like what I thought. Some bad icing looks to be the blame early on... That's a horrible situation.

That stuff is scary. I have never really flown a plane other than 172s and and seminoles so my rule is pretty much if it is below freezing I don't need to be in the clouds.

Does anyone know what kind of anti/de-ice gizmos the citation has? It has to be able to fly through this kind of stuff right?
