Alaska gets forgotten about because everyone knows those bush planes crash all the time. Even though Pen Air was a full on 121 op at the time. Shoot, I haven’t seen a thread on the missing Bering Caravan yet.Many are saying this was the first fatal airline crash in 16 years. That's not entirely accurate. Let's not forget PenAir 3296. Although only one fatality, it easily could have been much worse.
