Compensation Packages- FAA Program

FAA Flight Instructor (F3): $36,703-$55,055

FAA Flight Instructor (F2): $30,586-$45,880

FAA Flight Instructor (F1): $25,461-$38,191

Bonus Structure for FAA Program

FAA F1 & FAA F2 Bonus Flight Hour: $95.00 per hour

FAA F3 Bonus Flight Hour: $105.00 per hour

Salary consist of base salary and quarterly bonus. Quarterly Bonus Structure will be paid on exceeding 71+ revenue cockpit hours a month (213) quarter. Salary is based on experience and program need.

The Flight Instructor is responsible for delivering high quality flight, simulator and ground instruction to students in compliance with the CAE Oxford Aviation Academy Training standards and Safety standards and applicable aviation authority regulations. He/she ensures that course standards, training requirements and objectives are met by each student. This position is training students with a strong focus on professional behavior and attitude besides strong theoretical and practical knowledge of flying. Therefore "teaching by example" is very a important responsibility for the Flight Instructor.

Responsibilities:

  • Instruct students in practical and simulator training strictly adhering to the applicable Training and Safety Standards, COAA Quality standards and/or other company directives.
  • Responsible for timely course completion of assigned students.
  • Completes non-flying assignments to include duty instructors and classroom briefings, ensures that students are satisfactory progressing through the course an immediately informs Program Manager/Flight Instructor Lead of any delays in training or unsatisfactory progress.
  • Promotes safe behaviors at all times and complies in behavior and execution with the Safety Management System; ensures all students understand and practice all aspects of the COAA Safety Management System, actively participates in the company safety management system to include filing air safety reports, attending safety briefings, and is vigilant for unsafe behavior.
  • Responsible for accurately maintaining student trainings records and student logbooks.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate completion of all student and flight related administration and records including planning for examinations.
  • Attends administrative, standardization and instructor development meetings and in-service trainings as assigned, also attends open days and trade shows as requested.
  • Identity and initiate improvements for practical instruction and Training Standards and work responsible people to constantly improve safety and quality levels.
  • Monitors technical and internal status and cleanliness of all the aircraft concerned and report discrepancies to the responsible people, verifies that the aircraft is airworthy before operating.
  • To deliver standardized JAR-FCL and FAR flight training as directed by the Program Manager/Flight Instructor Lead.
  • To deliver 71 revenue earning hours of training as directed by the testing in a month (213 in a quarter).
  • Ensures that the students understand and practice all aspects of the Operations Manual.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
