Central Washington Flight Program

Hi,

I'm currently 20, and attending the University of Washington -Seattle.
I am going to try and attend a flight school this summer and was wondering if anyone knows anything about Central Washington's Flight Program. I'm in a position that school costs do not matter, but the cost for the training does (of Course).

There may be financial aid available at Central so that the cost of my flight training would decrease but I'm not sure if it's worth leaving UW for CWU.

On the other hand, I am looking at Acuwings and Pavco in Washington. Any advice would help.

Also if there are any scholarships for these places, could you provide the link(s)?

Thanks in advance

Please don't leave UW to goto CWU!, that would be a huge mistake. There are a ton of good options in the Seattle area to train at. Look at Regal Air, Acuwings they both are good deals.

Do what works for you, ultimately your the one that has to live with it.

The Dawgs will say UW the best, the Eagles will say CWUs the best, in the end most folks don't care where you went to school, just that you went to school.

Now, I'm a Coug and I think CWU is a great school that has a good flight program, probably an eastside thing:D Ellensburg on the other hand leaves a bit to be desired.

I went to CWU and then went to Big Bend Community College to finish up flying. There were a few classes which I was so annoyed that I payed money for. Aviation Law was an utter joke. I think I could read out of the book better then her.

Thats the case with a lot of college level courses. Business Law rates right up there with Aviation Law. And "Intro to" classes, OMG:D

I'm a coug too. There is no way I would want to live in Ellensburg after coming from the city. Stick it out get your degree from UW and get your ratings on the side. It will be much cheaper.
