My first CFI would never leave a headset in a plane. I thought he looked like a tool carrying it around everywhere.

Maybe someone should start selling headset bags that can be securely locked to an airplane.

I hope you had some good insurance.... A buddy of mine got a brand new set for nearly nothing when his crap in his car got stolen.... He actually got a brand new pair in far better condition....

Sucks to hear your car got broken into. I had that happen to me a while back. While I only lost an inexpensive headset, I also lost my logbook, FAA test results, and my medical. I hope you catch the person who took it.
