The Captain reports directly to the Chief Pilot and is responsible for the safe conduct of flights to which assigned. In this role, the Captain:
·Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations, as well as the policies and procedures specified in the company operations manual.
·Determines whether or not a given flight is to be continued, taking into account the prevailing weather, other conditions and limitations of the airplane concerned.
·Provides excellent customer service to flight passengers in a professional, private and friendly manner.

Specific performance objectives include:
1.Maintains a high degree of proficiency and a thorough knowledge of the procedures and systems in the aircraft.
2.Completes flight preparations (weather analysis, flight planning, pre-flight inspection, fuel load, aircraft weight and balance, catering, aircraft security and storage, and compliance with aircraft operating limitations) to ensure the aircraft is ready for flight.
3.Ensures that all passengers and baggage are safely accompanied to and from the aircraft and briefed on normal and emergency procedures.
4.Has complete command of the assigned aircraft, taking such action as may be necessary to meet the requirements of an emergency situation.
5.Approves services for necessary equipment, fuel purchases, and maintenance at airports enroute. Keeps necessary time records for the crew to ascertain that flight and duty time limitations as prescribed are not exceeded.
6.Reports any mechanical discrepancy or other operational problem to the Chief Pilot and Chief of Maintenance on malfunction or defect report forms provided.
7.Maintains current aircraft and navigation manuals and charts.
8.Reports cancellation of a flight to the Chief Pilot and Executive Assistant when necessary. Notifies all passengers concerned
of flight cancellation.

As Maintenance Officer, he is responsible for overseeing all maintenance of company aircraft. In this role he:
·Ensures the airworthiness and maximum availability of company aircraft.
·Ensures the scheduling and forecasting of maintenance inspections and issues.
·Tracks and reports on aircraft maintenance metrics.

Specific performance objectives include:
1.Licensed by the FAA to perform airframe and power plant maintenance. (A&P License)
2.Schedules and/or performs required inspections and preventive maintenance.
3.Ensures compliance with Airworthiness Directives.
4.Performs maintenance duties as necessary to complete inspections, repairs and modifications on company aircraft
5.Is responsible for inventories, purchase of material, parts and other items required for the maintenance of aircraft, hanger and ground support equipment.
6.Maintains a library of manufacturers’ publications, maintenance manuals, overhaul manuals, parts manuals and service bulletins.
7.Supervises refueling and servicing of the aircraft
8.Verifies aircraft is clean and restocked at completion of flight activities.
9.Directs and assists in maintaining aircraft hangar and facilities in a presentable condition.
