I don’t know that airport but one has to imagine the plane is a fair bit off the runway to be in trees like that

I've gone around there before to be safe (it was at night). Police showed up, neighbors really didn't like that.

It’s not that short of a runway but the weather today was el Crapo. Metar at the time doesn’t show particularly high winds, but there were certainly bands of moderate precip all day.
The trees are off the end of 07 but the winds were 22010 or so at the time of the accident.

Friend of a friend was an eye witness. Said it was a late go around after an ILS with a tailwind. Hit the trees off the end of the runway while trying to climb.
