I would love to but the problem is when it comes to videos I'm half amish. We did have one guy a few years ago put together a cool vid which I'll be happy to show if you get here or maybe at NJC.
So a little about the aircraft. The smaller aircraft (Twin commander, aerostar) are used here in the US as Air Attack aircraft. I discuss how it works in the US and once I get back from my visit north, I compare/contrast.
The Air Attack is run by either BLM or USFS with a pilot and usually an air tactical supervisor on board. CA does it with the OV-10.
Add to this if the fire is near a populated area, a lead plane is required. Today the leadplanes are King Airs. The leads can direct coordinate and evaluate aerial firefighting actions and is authorized for low level ops. Certain leads are qualified to act as both lead and air tactical supervisor. I assume the Canadians act the same way. The big difference is that none of the tanker companies in the US provide Air Attack, or Lead aircraft/personnel.
