Canada's greatest export: The CRJ

MEL NO MUFFS
Clickbait. Anyways, here is a government funded documentary about the government funded Challenger. This was before Canadair engineers grabbed the font and back and went "EEE!" and stretched it, the first time.

Truly Canada’s greatest gift to the world.

Is that the only time in history CRJ and romance has been used together?

Wait what were that pilot and flight attendant who went gallivanting naked in the woods flying?

Clamshell door too? There was one next to our hangar at HOU.
Honestly I don't think so. I came across it in one of our hangars when I showed up for work one morning a few years ago at a company I don't work for anymore. The nose strut had given up the ghost and the airplane was doing its best impersonation of a '70s hot rod. I ended up talking to the pilot and was told the owner had bought it new (the pilot I was talking to had flown it since new) and was given one of two options, more fuel capacity or winglets. I guess the principle decided that winglets were sorcery and opted for more fuel. The pilot told me it was all marketing BS, the range with the extended tanks was the same as an airplane with winglets. I got the impression the owner didn't really care about spending money on fuel or looking cool on the ramp.
