Call Sign : Omaha , Anyone know these guys?

Hey everyone,

The other day I was coming back with one of my students into KPOU in upstate NY and I heard an aerostar taking off from KSWF headed to KBWI. I was wondering if anyone knew who this outfit was. I'm assumming that it is a freight company. Any help would be appreciated.

Man, if Omaha Steaks has their own corp aviation dept, that'd be sweet. I wonder if pilots would get "steak options." Ha.. ha..... ha..
 
U.S. Customs perhaps?

"Omaha 45" was the callsign of the Customs P3 that was providing ATC over the Hurricane Katrina TFR's last year.

a p3 took off from kdal at 1029Am today from 13R

that thing was insane to watch. what a pig. was like 500 AGL over the AAC. what a great deep bassy sound. man i love it

We had a couple of Navy P3s based in Kandahar(Qandahar)Afghanistan when I was there. Very cool to watch them do lights off low approaches.
