Looks a lot like an A320 then again I cant imagine there are too many crafty ways to design an airliner.

Well that and China generally doesn't innovate anything. They just make really bad copies.

They don't have to innovate to sell a ton in China and I'm not sure what's really left to innovate on narrowbodies? I know a lot of people were hoping that we'd export all the high end stuff to China and they'd build the cheaper stuff to justify all the jobs we lost, but nope it looks like they want to make everything we do and our trade deficit's only going to get worse.

Let's see, Chinese copy of a very complex piece of equipment, which requires multiple complex systems to function correctly... In a field of technology which is very unforgiving of mistakes. Add a dash of the culture to save face by hiding or not recognizing mistakes. I hope I'm wrong, but I give it less than a year from initial in service date and the first major incident.

If that happens, let's hope it's in a country that will do a legitimate inverstigation. Otherwise, it will chalked up to "pilot error" and more accidents will follow.

The Americans knocked together some boats and called it a Navy. Of course they were all designed by Britishmen, as is only right and proper. But it will be the most powerful navy in the world? Hahaha, my good fellow, you are a wag.
