Position Description
We are currently seeking two Instructors to join our team to manage and perform the efficient development and delivery of C-17 Maintainer training provided through the Boeing C-17 International Training Centre. One person will be focused on Avionics, the other on Mechancial.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the development, delivery and evaluation of Maintainer training.
Develop updates for Maintainer training courses and materials to satisfy requirements.
Perform reviews to ensure courseware materials and products are current and accurate.
Use specialised software technology to research, configure, maintain, update and develop new and existing media and materials.
Instruct Maintainer training courses using a variety of media and training devices and established courseware materials.
Assess student performance in C-17 Maintainer simulators, classroom, learning center, and other aircrew training device environments.
Assess student learning and adjusts presentation to ensure successful understanding by all students.
Maintain a high level of proficiency in instructional methods, training devices, and aircraft system operations.
Understands the concepts military manuals, standards, curriculum, schedules, engineering data and related documentation.
Develops solutions, in collaboration with other team members and in accordance with established procedure and policies and guidelines.
Implement endorsed changes as directed. Pursues continuous process improvements.
Apply processes, quality assurance and standards to courseware development.
Interact and collaborate with internal/external team members.
Develop high performance aircraft specific training materials.
Establishe processes for identifying training content and evaluating training effectiveness.
Conduct analyses to evaluate customer technical training needs to determine appropriate training content, objectives and design.
Perform analysis required to ensure products incorporate latest aircraft/machine technology interfaces.
Coaches and develops others.

Typical Education/Experience
Ideally you will educated to Bachelor’s degree level or higher and hold a significant amount of related work experience. Ideally you will hold significant operational experience as a C-17 Maintainer (Avionics or Mechanical), in the rank of SNCO or equivalent management position. Ideally you will have experience as a C-17 Maintainer instructor. General instructor experience in academic and theoretical topics also required.
