C-320 Aerial Survey Pilot ID/AZ

Hello Aviators,

I'm flying for a survey company based out of Boise, ID and Glendale, AZ that is currently searching for another twin pilot to fly the mighty Cessna Skyknight. Details you would probably like to know...

Schedule:
currently three weeks on one week off. We are working on getting to a two on two off we just don't have enough staff at the moment to pull it off. Company pays to fly you to and from home for your time off. While on the road all expenses are covered by company. You will be flying with a camera operator. While on road you do get your own hotel room. We stay at nice hotels, usually Marriott or Hilton properties.

Pay:
starting salary will be based on flight time and experience but will range between 28k and 40k starting out. Pay increases can be expected within first year if you are doing good work.

Minimums:

10,000 hrs TT
5,000 multi engine
1,000 space
One lunar landing
Three successful in flight ejections

Actual minimums:

900 total time
500 PIC
20 hrs multi engine PIC (PIC! Not total).
300 hrs cross country. We fly throughout the entire US and Canada so you need to have some experience with long cross countries and making your own decisions.

These aren't really "hard mins" but I can't see us hiring someone to start out as PIC in the twins with anything lower. These times are already a bit of a stretch but we are a small company so a good personality and attitude go a long way. You must be very comfortable flying VFR in complex airspace and talking a lot with ATC. During the cross country reposition flights you are free to fly night or day, VFR, IFR, or whatever you want as long as you are comfortable and being safe.

You will build between 40-70 hrs of ME time a month with this job (spring and summer are busy season) but please do not apply if you are just looking to get some quick ME time then bail after a few short months. Be honest about your intentions. PM me your resumes and references. I'll send info from the best of the bunch up the chain to command headquarters. Thanks.

I am currently flying for another survey company in the Midwest. I'm curious about the part of the company flying you to and from the job site. Is this a place that will let you be home based or is relocation required? I meet your minimums you have posted and would be interested in applying if relocation is not required. Thanks!

This definitely looks like something I'd be interested in, but I'm under contract with another survey company for another couple of months. Is it frowned upon to throw in a resume to kind of have "on file" for the future?
 
I flew for those guys for almost two years. If anyone needs more info, pls feel free to pm me. There's a few details not listed here haha

You can be home based but keep in mind that you will only be home one week a month (the week off is always a consecutive seven days of course).

Sky cap, this is a new thing they have just started doing in the last few months.

Hmm, well that's new lol. Hopefully it works for them. My current gig does that, and I usually see 500-600 one way tickets paid for by the company.. But that's for a transport category charter company, and largely last min purchase. I guess it all depends where you'll live.

It's pretty common for this type of work as well.

Industry standards don't always mean any one place falls under them :) nice change though. I had to move cross country for these same folks
