C-172 RG QUESTION

I havn't done any flying since Sept. 2004 and rust is piling up .

I booked a C-172 RG for the currency check this coming sunday and i just can't remember the prop control feel,that is how much pulling out or pushing in does it take to go through RPM changes like from TO about 2750 RPM to 2500 for climbing ,2300 cruising etc.also what is the RPM change for a full turn of the knob?

Just look at the TACH when adjusting...

The only setting I ever did by feel is is the initial adjustment after Take off when you go to 25/25. I'll pull the Throttle back to 24" then if I have to look outside for something I'll turn the Prop Control until I can fit my index finger between it and the friction lock... then as soon as I can, look at the TACH and get to 2500 RPM and 25" MP.
